Specialties: Specialize in teaching classical violinists (particularly former Suzuki students) how to retrain their technique for American fiddle styles for bluegrass, old-time, folk, Americana, country, and rock music. I also teach mandolin and guitar.
Credentials: I have been a working performing musician for 20 years, I have extensive touring and studio experience. My foundation was through the Suzuki method, which I studied for 8 years. I have also studied theory at the college level and have been a studio engineer.

Low Income Policy? Yes, I offer special rates for student on fixed incomes, and for students in recovery (living in an SLE or in residential treatment.)
Rates: $25/ half-hour, $40/ hour
Other Services: I have also worked as a Booker/Promoter, Manager, and Engineer, and can help your band or singer-songwriting career with your EPK, mixing/mastering, recording on a budget, getting college radio play, and tour booking. I can offer consultancy or ongoing management services. Inquire about rates.
