Credentials: Bill has been one of the most respected and in demand local teachers in the Monterey bay area for nearly 30 years. he has been formally educated at Cabrillo College, U C Santa Cruz , and the Berklee College of Music. he began teaching through Union grove Music in 1980, and taught group classes through the UCSC Recreation department for 10 years

Student Requirements: ages 10 to 100, I am willing to consider younger students. Student must have a properly set up and playable guitar, younger and smaller students are encouraged to start on a 3/4 size instrument.

Additional Information: Bill has also been active as a performer since the late 70's in bands Tao Chemical and Rhythmical, World's Collide, Dresden, Santa Cruz Steel, Dream Beach, the Al James band, and most recently as a solo performer, and member of the trio New Delta. He just returned from a performance and clinic tour of Switzerland, and has been working on a solo CD and recently traveled to Istanbul for a collaboration with Turkish musician Erdem Helvacioglu.
